Chicken Coop Esports LLC (“Chicken Coop”, “we”) runs chickencoop.gg. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Last updated November 1, 2026. See also our Terms of Service.
The Roost (fan accounts)
When you join the Roost we keep:
- Your email address, to sign you in with one-time links or codes and send account emails.
- If you sign in with Discord: your Discord user ID, username and the email Discord shares with us. We ask Discord only for your identity and email, never your messages or servers.
- If you connect FACEIT: your FACEIT player ID and nickname (from FACEIT sign-in) and your CS2 FACEIT level and Elo (read daily from FACEIT’s public data), so we can give you the matching rank role in our Discord. We never see your FACEIT password. You can disconnect FACEIT at any time on your Roost page.
- Your gamertag, your Feathers balance and history, codes you redeem, rewards you claim and any referral.
- Where you came from when you joined (for example a Twitch or X link), so we know which channels work.
We use this to run your account, your tier, your rewards and your shop discounts, and to give you the right roles in our Discord. Our staff get a private notice in Discord when someone joins or links Discord (gamertag and Discord name only, never your email). Your gamertag only appears on the Nest Guardians wall if you turn that on.
Shop orders
When you buy merch we keep your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone (if you give it) and order history, so we can make and ship your order, handle returns and give you Feathers for completed orders. Payments are handled by WooPayments (powered by Stripe) or PayPal; we never see or store your full card number.
Contact forms
If you message us, we keep what you send (name, email and message) to reply and follow up.
Cookies and analytics
- Needed cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart, and remember a friend’s referral link and the link you arrived from (for 30 days).
- We use Google Analytics (through MonsterInsights) to see how the site is used, such as pages visited, device type and rough location. You can block it with your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Our security tools record IP addresses and sign-in attempts to block attacks.
- Embedded Instagram posts, Twitch or YouTube videos may set their own cookies when they load.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share only what each service needs to run the site and shop:
- Hosting and email delivery: GoDaddy.
- Payments: WooPayments/Stripe and PayPal.
- Printing and shipping your order: Printful and the shipping carrier.
- Analytics: Google.
- Discord, to manage your server roles if you link your account.
- FACEIT, to confirm your FACEIT account and read your level if you connect it.
- Authorities, if the law requires it or to protect people from fraud or harm.
Age
The Roost is for fans 13 and up. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has joined, contact us and we’ll delete the account.
How long we keep it
We keep Roost data while your account is open and delete it when you ask us to. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually up to 7 years). Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights and choices
- You can change your gamertag and wall setting in the Roost at any time.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account through our contact form. We’ll confirm it’s you and reply within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the UK or the EU), you may have more rights, such as to object to or limit some uses. Contact us and we’ll help. EU and UK visitors can also complain to their local data protection authority.
- We treat browser Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing; we don’t sell or share data anyway.
Security and location
We use encrypted connections, sign-in limits and security monitoring, but no site is perfectly secure. Our services are based in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top, and tell Roost members about big changes.
