A new chapter begins as the Bad News Capybaras officially link up with Chicken Coop for the upcoming CS2 season. Known for their tenure in the North American ECL scene, the Capybaras are set to compete at Fragadelphia 19 and begin their journey toward qualifying for the next CS2 Major.

Next up is Fragadelphia 19, running July 17–20, 2025 at the Saints Esports Nexus Arena in Windsor, Ontario. With a $50,000 prize pool and a deep bracket of North American squads, it’s a proving ground and a chance to build momentum toward Major contention.
The upcoming ECL Play-In will serve as the team’s first appearance under new backing, and all eyes will be on their performance as they take the stage against rising and established teams alike.

The long-term focus is clear: qualify for the CS2 Major. That means gaining VRS points, staying sharp in closed qualifiers, and building consistency through LAN play. With the infrastructure now in place and the support system growing, the Capybaras are in position to take the next step.
